St. Johnsburg Fire Company, Inc.
"Serving the Residents of the Town of Wheatfield, NY Professionally Since 1926"
The St. Johnsburg Fire Company was established in August of 1926 by some residents of the Town of Wheatfield, NY who saw a need for more fire protection within the town. On August 2nd, 1926, a meeting was held at Krull's Tavern at Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road with then fire chief of the City of North Tonawanda Mr. Charles Doebler who gave insight to the residents on how to form and establish a fire department. On August 9th, 1926, a meeting was held at Krull's again and it was decided to form a new fire company that day with the name St. Johnsburg Fire Company. The St. Johnsburg Fire Company was incorporated on November 9th, 1936. Through the years, our fire company has provided services for fire protection, fire suppression, fire prevention, motor vehicle crashes, emergency medical services and any other calls for help from the public.
